Meet Miss Daisy Jane!

I am so excited to share with you my second quilt pattern Miss Daisy Jane. This was such a fun quilt and is inspired by a multi-generational love of ditch daisies.

As a young girl I would pick daisies from the ditch and bring them to my grandmother. She loved receiving them and would fill a vase with water and some food coloring and we would watch them change color. I passed this on to my three daughters and now you can find a jar of ditch daisies changing color in my kitchen window all summer long.

Daisies are just such a joyful flower that blooms where ever they are planted and are a great reminder to do so also. 

Miss Daisy Jane is a quick pattern that sews together simply and quickly. It would be so fun to make this in many color ways or even scrappy. The idea for this quilt actually came about as a way to use the many 5" square scraps that I have, but quickly turned into just a 3 color quilt as I loved the subtle pop and contrast of the lighter background blocks. My daughter has already requested this in a blue color way!
